If you are a new mother then you would be forgiven for not knowing exactly what you need for your new baby when he or she comes into this world. It is an exciting time for you and for everyone in your family and hopefully you will get many gifts that provide you with most of the things that you need. However you do not want to leave it to chance and so doing some shopping before the baby comes along makes perfect sense. The first thing that you need to do is to create the lists of the things that you have read about online and what other experienced mothers have told you about.

There are some essential pieces of clothing that you can get from Kiin that every new baby should have and while it’s difficult right now to know what size to get, most newborn clothing pretty much is free size and it will fit the vast majority of babies. The following are some of the clothing items that you really should add to your checklist.

  • Lots of bibs – Your kid is going to be breastfeeding at the very beginning and because food especially milk will be very new to their bodies, there will be times when they can’t keep their food down. You will preferably not want there are thrown up milk all of your clothes because it does tend to stick a little and so making sure that you have many bibs on hand to put all of would be an excellent idea.
  • A few hats – You are going to want to take your baby outside to show him or her off and so it is important that you protect them from the heat of the sun and the harmful UV rays. The hat itself will help to keep them cool in summer and warm in winter.
  • Some mittens – New babies tend to touch their faces a lot and as their nails get longer, they tend to scratch their skin and this can lead to infections. It is also a good idea to get a few pairs of socks when you take them to visit friends and family and of course some pyjamas are sleeping at night should be at the top of your list of things to buy.

This is not an exhaustive list and there are many other things that you may need, however if you stick to this list of three then you’re pretty much covered for most eventualities.
